WHAT'S IN YOUR NAME This is one of the great ice breaker party games. Use it for your guests to get acquainted and to become relaxed. Each guest says her name and then makes a sentence using every letter in her name. Lots of laughs and complete and utter nonsense. Examples: FUNNY ADJECTIVES (MADLIBS) These funny ice breaker party games are played like the old MadLibs games we did as a kid. As guests enter the hostess's home, have them write an adjective down on a piece of paper and put it into a bowl. When it's time for the game, draw adjectives as needed. Hello, I represent _____, the _____ company in the world. We sell the _____ products. I am very pleased to be in this _____ home tonight. We must admit, we have a _____ Hostess. Of all the groups I have ever held a show with, you are by far the _____. And once again, I want to thank our _____ Hostess for inviting me into her home this evening. I am sure by the end of the evening, you will agree I am the _____ demonstrator you have ever met. I do hope that you have such a good time tonight you will invite me into your _____ home, so that you can receive some of our _____ merchandise free, too. now I will continue with our demonstration because afterwards, our _____ Hostess will be serving some _____ refreshments. EASY ADDING GAME The following fun ice breaker party games are poems. Give each guest an index card and have her keep score while you are reading the poem. Highest score wins a prize.

WHAT'S MY LINE?
Another of the fun ice breaker party games, as each guest arrives, give them a slip of paper with the name of an occupation written on it. Guests must mingle and ask questions of each other to determine the occupations of the other guests. The guest with the most correct answers wins.
WHO AM I?
Ice breaker party games: This of the hostess party games will require you to have an index card with the name of a famous person on it for each guest. To begin the game, pin a card on each players back. The player must not see her name, and can learn it only by asking questions of the other guests, such as: Am I a man?, What country do I live in?, etc.
The game continues until each guest has identified herself.
AUTOGRAPHS
Hostess party games for stay at home mom businesses. Give all guests an index card and pencil. Tell them they have one minute to collect as many signatures from one another as they can. The person with the most signatures wins. You can vary this game by asking them to write with their opposite hand.
WANT AD GAME Hysterical ice breaker party games! Have guests pick something in their house that they would like to sell and write a want ad for it.
When everybody has finished writing, ask each guest to read what she has written , but to substitute her husband or boyfriends name for it instead.
Or, have them list a piece of furniture.
Then, have them list five reasons why they like and dislike the item.
After everyone is done writing, say, "the household item that you have written down, I want you to cross it out and replace it with your husband or boyfriend's name."
When they say the sentence they must say: I want to replace (name of husband/boyfriend) because he is....................... and list their reasons. It's a fun game and everyone loves it. The one that has the most outlandish answers wins.
DEMO AN ITEM
Some ice breaker party games get your guests moving- literally. Print up several of the following lists of instructions, varying the order of all numbers. In other words, Sing Mary Had a Little Lamb might be #1 on one list but #3 on another.
Pass a list to each guest & tell her to do each action on her list in the order in which it is listed.
After the game is finished, have all guests return to their seats and one by one, have a guest go to center of the room, put her shoe back on her foot, tell the other guests why she chose the item she has, and demonstrate it. Each guest receives a prize.
- Shake hands with 5 people
- Say your name loudly
- Look out the front door
- Introduce yourself to the Demonstrator
- Flap your wings like a bird
- Take off you right shoe and leave it in the center of the room
- Go to the display, choose a product, and put it on your seat.
PASS IT ON

Arrived first Has the most children Is the tallest Been married the longest Has the largest earrings Has the most grandchildren Has the most buttons on clothing Lost the most weight Has the bluest eyes Has the most rings on Has the longest hair Walked through the door last To the right of who now has the gift
The last player who holds the item gets to keep it.
HUMMING GAME
Hostess party games that get you humming! Pass out index cards with songs written on them. You will need to write each song twice, on two different cards. Pass out the song titles, one to each guest and tell them they must hum their song while they search for the other guest that is humming the same song. Winners are the two guests that find each other first.
PASSING NOTES
Silly ice breaker party games! Give each guest a sheet of paper and have her answer the following questions. Then, have guest #1 read the first sentence aloud followed by guest #2 reading the second sentence aloud, and so on. This mixes the story up for a hysterical time!
- I leave my (something in your house)
- To (someone who is in the room)
- I liked it when it was new because _______
- I don't want it anymore because _______
- I think she would like it because _______
MUSICAL HATS
This of the ice breaker party games is a variation of musical chairs. Bring several hats with you to the party. This can be any type of hat, including paper hats. Have enough for each guest. Stand your guests in a circle. Give each guest except one a hat.
When the music starts, the guest without a hat will take the hat off the head of the lady to her left, who will then take the hat off the head of the lady to her left, and so on, until the music stops. When the music stops, the guest without a hat sits down, taking someone else's hat with her. Start the game again, and continue until only one person is left.
LAP SITTING GAME
Ice breaker party games can be a lot of fun to play at direct sales home parties. This one is another that guests seem to love. Ask these statements to the guests. When a person can answer yes to a question, that person moves to the next seat on their right. The first person that gets back to their original seat wins. By the way...there will be several sitting on laps...even 4 at a time. Have Fun!!
