Coupon CategoriesOrganize Your Coupon SystemCoupon Categories can be very important when it comes to creating a successful coupon organization system. When organizing your coupons, you may find that you would like to have a thorough list of categories to sort your coupons.
You may find that you would like a more general, but complete list. Here is a list compiled from several Coupon Queen’s own files. Use it as you see fit. Keep in mind, these are very specific coupon categories. Your individual needs will vary. Some people want to be ultra-organized, while, for many, a general “baby” category will work much better than “baby-diapers, baby-formula, baby-food”. --Diapers --Formula --Food --Wipes --Other Baking --Spices --Baking supplies like flour, sugar, etc --Betty Crocker --Pillsbury, etc Beverages --Coffee --Soda/pop --Water --Tea --Juice --Drink Boxes --Mixes like Hot Chocolate, Crystal Light, Kool-Aid, etc Breakfast --Cold Cereals --Hot Cereals --Syrup --Bars --Oatmeal --Pancakes, Other Breakfast Items Canned Goods --Fruits --Vegetables --Tuna/Meats --Soup --Tomatoes and Tomato Sauces --Gravy and Broth --General Condiments --Salad Dressing --Ketchup --Mustard --BBQ Sauce --Other Sauces/Marinades --Mayo --Pickles --Olives --Peanut Butter --Jelly --Other Dairy --Milk --Butter and Eggs --Organic Dairy --Cheese --Yogurt --Other Dairy like Cream Cheese, Cottage Cheese, etc Breads --Biscuits (refrigerated biscuit dough) --Refrigerated Cookie Dough --Bagels, English Muffins --Breads --Hot Dog and Hamburger Buns --Pita and Specialty Breads Frozen Foods --TV Dinners --Entrees and Pot Pies --Pizza --Vegetables --Fruits --Ice Cream --Desserts (cake, pie) --Meat --Fish Fresh Foods --Produce --Meats --Dried fruits Processed Foods --Pasta --Rice --Crackers --Dinner Kits --Stuffing --Side Dishes Snacks --Candy --Cookies --Chips and Pretzels --Popcorn --Nuts --Jerky Pet --Dog Food --Cat Food --Cat Litter --Animal Treats Paper Products --Paper Plates --Paper Napkins --Paper Towels --Aluminum Foil --Plastic Wrap --Sandwich and Gallon Baggies --Tissues, Kleenex --Toilet Paper --Wet Wipes --Batteries Laundry --Laundry Soap --Fabric Softener --Dryer Sheets --Bleach or Whiteners --Stain Pens --Stain Treaters Cleaning Supplies --Glass Care --All Purpose Cleaner --Bathroom Cleaner --Floor Cleaner --Dish Soap --Dishwasher Soap Oral Care --Toothpastes --Toothbrushes --Mouthwash --Dental floss Makeup --Almay --Clairol --Cover Girl --Revlon --Max Factor --Cleansers and Makeup Removers --Tools like Tweezers Feminine Hygiene --Maxi Pads --Pantiliners --Tampons --Alternative Products --Cleansers Hair Care --Shampoo --Conditioner --Hair Color --Style Aids --Leave in Treatments Soaps --Soaps --Body Washes --Hand Soaps Other Personal Care --Razors --Shaving Cream --Lotions --Deodorants OTC Medications --General --Pain Relievers --Cough Drops --Cold/Flu --Bandaids/First Aid --Vitamins Many Coupon Queens, or those who coupon on a regular basis, have a smaller coupon file for the following categories. Other --Free Product --Rebates --Entertainment --Restaurants --Store coupons I hope that this list of coupon categories will help you develop your own couponing system to make the most out of a truly profitable hobby. You've
probably noticed that I have mentioned Refunding Makes
Cents, or
Refund
Cents
several times throughout the couponing section. Why? Simply because Refund Cents is the best coupon, refund, deals, and freebies site on the internet. It is run by Michele Easter,
and has been in existence for literally decades. Refunding Makes Cents is the most distributed coupon and refund newsletter in the world. There are two portions to Refund Cents, the print magazine, which has 11 issues a year, and the online access. The online access is a membership based site, but the dues are extremely low, costing less for an entire year than most sites charge a month. (About $1 per month) If you are new to couponing, or if you are serious about this hobby/income sources, I highly, highly suggest you invest a few dollars into Refund Cents. If you can afford it (around $25) get the print issues and the online access. Make sure you pick up a copy of the Beginner’s Bonanza. If that is too steep for you, then just get the online access. Deals are posted by other members, in real time. Check "Michele's Updates" and "Chit-Chat" daily. Trust me, you'll make up the purchase price in a few days. You'll be emailing me thanking me for introducing you to this wonderful information source. |
