I totally agree. I think that when uplines and companies show all the things you can buy with your "riches", it attracts the wrong kind of prospects and repeals the right kind of prospects.

When I see someone on a website tanning on the deck of his $3M yacht, I don't think to myself "Wow! I want to join THAT company!" I think "What a load of bull-crap."

Those that are excited join the company, realize it is not as easy as they thought it would be, and fail miserably. Then they hop over to the next website with flash network marketing hype.

What we all need is realism, and not the rah-rah hype.
