Save by Eating at Home!

When my husband and I decided we wanted to be healthier and lose weight, I started cooking at home so I could control what we eat.

It's AMAZING how much money we save!

Counting breakfasts, lunches, and dinners, we were eating out *at least* 5-6 times a week - often more!

Now, we may eat out 1-2 a month and our food bill has been cut by two-thirds... not to mention that we've both lost 20 pounds!!

Dee,

You are SOOOO right about the amount of money wasted with eating out.

We had a particularly bad month a couple years ago, and I went through and added up all the dining out we had done. We had over $600 in one month! That was my wake up call!! This is one way we "nickel and dime" ourselves to death!
