Though there are many ways to afford being able to live off one-income in a two-income society, saving money always seems to come back to food. We all eat. And the price of food has been skyrocketing lately! As if it wasn't expensive enough already!

The USDA publishes monthly reports on the cost of food in America, and in one year (Jan 2011-Jan 2012), the average monthly food expenses for a family of four went up almost $50! (moderate-cost plan). So how can we create frugal meals and save some money? Well, there are many strategies to stretch your food dollar.
