Sunday Paper

The quickest method of obtaining multiple clipper coupons is simply to obtain them from your local Sunday paper. Many coupon users purchase several papers each Sunday.

Some have two Sunday papers delivered. Some, like me, only purchase multiples when there are lots of good or highly anticipated coupons coming.

One tip: if you are going to be purchasing multiple Sunday papers, always buy them in sets of two. This way, if an item you have a coupon for goes on sale as a Buy One Get One Free offer, you have two coupons to use for each deal you do, and don't end up with a leftover, unused coupon.

But there are ways to obtain Sunday paper coupons without purchasing them. Here are a few free ways to get Sunday paper coupons:

Friends and Family
Many Coupon Queens ask friends, neighbors, and family members who do not choose to utilize their coupons to save their inserts for them.

In exchange for giving you something they were going to throw away, its always nice to gift them with freebies that you obtain with the coupons for groceries once in a while.

You can even expand this network, and ask for local restaurants or businesses to save them for you.
Newspaper Delivery Person
Establish a relationship with your newspaper delivery person. Most newspaper delivery folks need to submit only the front page of the newspaper back to the office to get credit for the papers that don't sell.

They toss the rest of the paper into the dumpster. Offer to trade them regular freebies for their extra inserts each week.

Keep in mind that this will require them to do more work; separating your inserts from their discarded papers. Make sure you give them nice goodies!


Dumpster Diving
I will admit, I have done this before. You can go diving for newspapers at your local paper recycling dumpsters to look for clipper coupons.

Also, the newspaper office in your town may have them in their dumpsters. Whether you decide to get into the dumpster, or just take the newspapers off when they are at the top, is totally up to you.

The main advantage of a coupon clipping service: they clip the coupons! Unless you decide to order whole inserts, you order by the single coupon you need, and they all come perfectly cut, saving you time.

The biggest disadvantage to a coupon clipping service: you need to know, in advance, what sales you will need coupons for, so that you have time to order and receive your clipper coupons. Of course, you can always get a raincheck from your store if they run out of the item and you ran out of time.

You are paying for the time it takes for someone to acquire, sort, clip, and mail the clipper coupons to you. And if you've ever clipped coupons out of a paper just once, then you know that it takes a whole heck of a lot of time to do it!

eBay

eBay is also an excellent place to go for a coupon clipping service. Keep in mind that most eBay prices are slightly higher than places like the Coupon Clippers.

Remember that eBay sellers must pay eBay and Paypal fees.

But sometimes harder to find coupons for groceries can be found on eBay without a problem. Many clipper coupons are offered as Buy It Now items, making shipping and getting free grocery coupons in the mail much quicker.

I would caution you, however, on getting free coupons on eBay, that is, coupons for free products. If the free grocery coupon is one that was in a recent Sunday paper, then you're fine. But if it is not, it may, in fact, be counterfeit.
