Chunky Chicken and Potato Stew – A Popular Dish With Plenty Leftover

My family's favorite freezer meal which I cook very frequently not only for my family but for my mom and my husband family is a thick chicken potato stew. This stew consists of more than 5 ingredients but is pretty simple to make. The recipe is called Chunky chicken and potato stew. The ingredients are:

6 medium potatoes peeled and cut into 1 inch chunks
1-2 onions
12 tablespoons of butter
1 cup of flour
14 cups of chicken broth
some pepper
about 3-5 cups of cooked chicken cut into chunks
4 cups of milk
some corn

You first peel the potatoes and cut them into chunks .

Then you cut the onions up and then you melt the butter in a large pot and then put the onions in the butter for about 2 minutes then you put in the flour and cook on a medium heat until the butter and flour are blended.

Then you will want to put the chicken broth in and bring that to a boil then after it starts to boil put in your potatoes and cook those for about a half an hour on a low heat.

Meanwhile, you can cut the already cooked chicken into chunks. When the potatoes are soft, increase the heat to a medium then add the chicken, milk and corn.

Cook until heated.

Then enjoy or freeze :)
