Budget Recipe: Macaroni Tuna Casserole

by Mary Lynn
(Idaho)

My absolute cheapest budget recipe for times when you only have a couple dollars in your pocket and no money is Macaroni Tuna Casserole.

You need the following:

Box Mac and Cheese
Can of Tuna
Can of Peas

Make the macaroni and cheese by following box directions.

Add can of drained tuna to mac and cheese. Add can of drained peas to mac and cheese. Bake at 350 for 10 minutes or so (you want it a little crunchy).

It actually doesn't taste that bad! If you don't have the peas, you can omit them or substitute frozen instead.
