What are 2 Tiered Affiliate Programs? Simply put, they are affiliate programs that allow you to get paid twice, on both the sales that you generate, and on the sales generated by those you have sign up to become affiliates.

Does that sound a little confusing? It is at first.

2-tiered affiliate programs are among the best affiliate programs on the net.

Lets go over this again.

With a 2 tiered program, you get paid two ways:

1. By sending customers to the program site through your affiliate link, which is just like a regular affilate program

2. By introducing the affiliate program to others, and getting paid a smaller commission when they send customers to the program site through their affiliate link.

Your first tier customers, those you refer directly, will pay you a higher commission than those on your second tier, or those referred by the people who signed up under you.

This concept is Network Marketing meets Affiliate Sales.


Please note:A 2 tiered affiliate program is legally NOT an MLM or Network Marketing program. A program would have to have 3 or more tiers to qualify for that distinction.

Its actually quite ingenious.

A residual affiliate program is usually on a renewable service.
